PUERTO GALERA lies on the northern tip of the island of Oriental Mindoro, approximately 110km south of Manila. Access is by a 2-hour drive from Manila, followed by a 1-hour boat ride.
DUMAGUETE is just a 20-minute drive from the local Dumaguete airport (just a sixty minute flight from Manila, not included in the package), on a long peaceful stretch of beach. The resort is surrounded by an amazing tropical garden with some of the rarest plants to be found in the Philippines, and is just a short trip to some of the most renowned dive sites in Asia - Apo Island, and of course the local Dauin Marine Sanctuaries.
The resorts feature a max of 40 guest rooms and suites, all including a private bathroom, solar heated water, air conditioning and ceiling fans, and mini bar, in-room safe deposit box, Cable TV, DVD player, and wireless internet. Coffee/tea making facilities and DVD player are available in upgraded rooms. Rooms at Dumaguete also have a private patio/balcony with Mexican hammocks.
Main facilities at both resorts include a swimming pool, bar/restaurant, spa, retail shop, camera room, and classroom for scuba instruction.
Enjoy scuba diving with a Five Star PADI Career Development Center, with the highest standard of dive education, first class facilities and world class dive guides. From the resorts, you can explore 30 or more nearby dive sites. The archipelago is home to more than 3000 species of fish and 448 species of coral – a fine balance of unbelievable muck diving, pristine coral reefs, and shoals of schooling fish.
