As we drive into Fiordland National Park, “glorious” is just one word that will pop into your head. The granite peaks become steeper, higher and more imposing. The rainforest flanking them becomes more dense, and the rivers even more crystal clear. We’ll walk a beautifully still and peaceful section of the Kepler Track along the banks of the Waiau River, before driving down into Milford Sound. Here, you’ll see waterfalls like nowhere else in the world. Milford receives over 21 feet of rain a year and we hope for rain in order to see the waterfals come alive.
